Gas conditioning skid
Fuel gas conditioning is a process where unrefined natural gas undergoes various physical separation processes to eliminate various impurities typically contained in it. A fuel gas conditioning system will remove condensate and particulate contaminations, leaving a clean gas stream ready for use in various industrial applications.

Description
Gas Conditioning Skids are designed to pre-treat natural gas and other combustible gases before they are injected into critical processes or gas turbine generators. The skid performs two functions: removing all liquid droplets and solid contaminants from the gas and regulating the gas temperature to the injection requirements. Different styles of filter elements can be used in the pressure vessel. Liquid contaminants are collected in a sump and automatically drained from the system for ease of operation. Either electric or steam heaters can be used for temperature regulation. All system components and piping are skid mounted for easy transportation and installation.
Components
The key components of a fuel gas conditioning skid include the following.
Gas scrubbers and filters
Gas superheaters with integrated dewpoint controls
Bulk solid and liquid separators
Valves and instrumentation panels
Temperature and pressure control systems
Power control systems
