All measurement instruments and equipment in the skid unit are installed outdoors within the process area of the facility, suitable for open-air installations. The flow computer and rack are housed in the client's control room.
This project involves a single crude oil quality flow meter skid to be installed at the terminal station. The metering system follows a two-in-service-and-one-backup principle, with three branches each having a calibration interface at the site.
Design requirements for the metering system include an outlet and discharge line at the lowest point of each branch, with all discharges connecting to a central on-site connection. All process valves (excluding instrumentation) utilize flanged connections.
The Petrochemical skid system is designed with a logical layout for ease of future field operation and maintenance. The supplier provides a realistic and effective three-dimensional visual aid for the client's review prior to finalization. Additionally, a pre-manufacturing review session is held with the client, the design team, to ensure consensus on the final design before proceeding with production.
